Hello I found a Lenape travel trail while helping my son do research for a town history project. Its a dirt road Approx 3/4 mile long and undisturbed. What should I look for? How should look ?

Thanks

Kevin

You want to look for flakes/chips first. These will mostly be flat on one side and range in size from small to large.

Glad to see your post rumracer. I was born and raised in south Jersey, Jackson Twp. There is a road behind the house I grew up in called Fish rd. The Lenape used it supposedly to go fishing somewhere. Most is tared now. Some parts have been moved. Impossible to tell where some parts originally went. Look the road up. I wish I was detecting when I lived there. I did find arrow heads on my parents property. Go for it! :D ;D
