And a bonus one from the same spot, would have been a beauty, I?m just calling it a Snyder?s

Here's a possible Snyders we found last night. Looks like a pretty good match if you imagine the rest of it. Fits the "well-executed but random percussion flaking" and "quality material and has a high quality of workmanship" description at Projectile Points...

Maybe they are more rare than I thought, unless I’m mistaken they are associated with hopewell which was pretty widespread, I like the others so far, I’m a bit partial to that ace of spades shape... I’ll throw in what Im calling a north blade, it’s a preform at the least

Here is a Snyders I found in a farm field in Marion County Indiana in the 90s. A few years later the farmer sold his farm and a housing development is now there.

This point is semi translucent.

A month or so after I found this, a relic hunting buddy found a nice banner in the field.

Found this guy in the middle of a field, walking to the camp area. Turned out to be a pretty nice find without any damage.

Dognose has some nice ones thanks for sharing.

Here's one I found in Macon Co. IL in the 90's. It's 2 3/4" and made from Burlington flint. It was found on the Lake Fork drainage ditch about 75 mi. east northeast of the original type site, which is the Snyder Farm located on the IL River in I believe Hardin Co. IL. Correction: The site is in Calhoun Co. IL, not Hardin.

I found this one close to home in Shelby Co. IL. The material is Cobden flint from Union Co. IL. Gary
