I checked out his other arrowheads for sale, they all look similar, size, notching, etc. That " Clovis " just looks bunk. Ebay is flooding the markets with artifakes, a real shame.

Funny you should mention.

I was looking at an artifact on a major dealers' site a couple days ago that was uncannily similar to this one. Its identical twin.

Only then it was attributed to a locale in Oregon.

Now there's a blank spot on the web page where it was, and the story is, "I got this from an estate sale, so I am not able to give any more info because I simply do not know where or how it was found. I am not a dealer or collector . . ."

Ebay's full of strange coincidences.

I probably just have a wild imagination, a poor memory and a streak of paranoia.

if you look at his feedback for the first link in this thread on ebay...it is from the same guy for about 20 of the same auctions.it is probaly his friend or himself building up some great feedback before he lists his LOT auctions. HMMMMM.
