By chance is there a 2 digit number toward the bottom? and while looking, is there a word, like" root"etc...?

I feel that the lettering is where it was bottled, or the distributor.

Near bottom reads:
CONTS. 6 1/2 FL.OZ
PROPERTY OF COCO COLA
BOTTLING CO.

On bottom:letters L.G.W.
No other markings on bottle than D.D.B. on both sides
It is aqua greenish color

Found two of these bottles in the same hole with a 1906 Indian head cent! All were in great condition.

well shoot, I thought I'd have an answer for you but unfortunately I don't EXCEPT to share this: when I found an old coke bottle embossed with C. S. Barnes I called my local Coca-Cola bottling company and was told it was from a local distributor of "flavored" sodas; in this case it was rootbeer and bottled in 1922. They offered $25.00 for it, I declined the offer as it was one of the first I ever found.

So, maybe call your local coke plant?

HH,
