Found in Josephine county Oregon in a gold mining area. The oldest Levi button I’ve found so far. I believe it’s the first design. And info appreciated. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1544409878.633113.webp

That's a cool piece of history

Nice find, Congrats!!!

Could anyone verify that this is the first Levi Strauss and Company button design. Thanks

I believe Levi Strauss has a museum in SF.(?) If it's a first style button, they'd probably want to buy it from you. I remember seeing a video of a guy who found an old pair of jeans in a mining camp and they turned out to be Levi and very old. I think they ended up at the museum. Gary
