LI Beaches Closed Today & Monday 
Irene has passed and tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful, but due to the amount of erosion and needed inspections, the state has closed all the beaches. I am so frustrated. I was going to head down a bit before sunrise and spend the day detecting and now I have to wait.
