I went out last Sunday with Wayfas4u and Garebel1861 for an afternoon hunt at a new site. While Wayfas only found an early Navy button and GaReb got a Great Seal and some nice arrowheads I found a very interesting and, I am sure, rare piece.:laughing7: It appears to have been silver plated and on the front has "Lift the Dot". While examining it the thing fell apart. There is some type of material sandwiched between the two halves. Anybody have any ideas what it might be? I am thinking a pocketbook clasp or something along those lines.

I had something similar on the convertible top of my old Austin Healey.
