i use a solar powered garden lightIt works well in reading the embossing of the maker.
What wattage of bulb and base were you using in the set up?
yea i found the garden light along side of a road and flat rate boxes are free at the Post officei use a solar powered garden light
removed most of the shielding
cut a hold in the bottom of the box for the light fixture to fit
then cut a hole on the side for the solar panel
place the insulator on top of the light and cover the solar panel with my hand
does not look fancy but was cheap to make

I just bought some solar light w/stakes from the Dollar Genaeral. Placed them in the ground and set my insulator on top. Then I took some apart and set in there and wired the insulator to hang....I’d like a solar light that an insulator screws on for nights lighted pathways..
I do love this! I wonder how a battery operated tea light would look? I know it wouldn't be as bright though.just made lightbox for seeing how they would look lite up
two different insulators
comments please

the tea light will also work and you can place the insulator directly over the topI do love this! I wonder how a battery operated tea light would look? I know it wouldn't be as bright though.
