Lightning has struck twice ~ Another trade token!

Even though there wasn't a cloud in the hot August sky!

You might recall last week I posted an old Texas trade token that I had dug. Well, today one week later, at the same site, no more than ten feet away from where I dug that token.....there was another one!

It is from the same merchant but a "5" denomination, instead of the "10" I found last week. How could I have missed this the first time out? Today I was going slow, listening for any good sound amonst the constant pops and chirps, and was rewarded for doing so.

I also turned up a very nice gold plated suspender buckle? It says PRESIDENT and on the back(patented Aug, 20 '92)

I would have liked to stay longer today, but the heat chased me away. I not complaining though,
something tells me I just might be back there one of these days.

Pretty cool, congrats on the 2nd token and nice suspender buckle too! Maybe they were lost at the same time?

Congratulations! I had a similar experience a few years ago where I found 4 CW Sutler tokens on 2 different trips. They too were in the same spot and like you Im not sure how I missed them.

That's very kewl, TATH! Tokens are one of my favorite things to find....but not tax tokens. Hang in there, only three more months till winter.
