How many of you actually open links / attachments listed in posts?
Just asking
Me, I refuse, but at times I feel like I'm missing out
For me , its a security thing, viruses, and malware
Has anyone here been hit with a virus or malware opening a link here?

Bradyboy....
I only click on links from Tnet friends, not newbies

I have great malware/spyware protection, but if it's spam, never.

I'll open a link I'm interested in if it's posted by someone I'm familiar with. If it's a new member or someone that rarely post, then I'm a little leery.

If it is a new member, and a sketchy link domain name or thread title I tend to pass.

I run a mac with several anti virus programs running. I never open any new member spammers and I suggest you do not either.

I only click on them if there is porn in the description, or I trust the Nigerian King that has asked me to help get money out of his country.

Aside from that only long time posters, or people that I chat with on TNet.

Also look for rep points. The more the rep points, the more I trust the person.

I'm not kidding, I got an email in 2015, apparently from Obama, asking for a small sum of money so he can run for the 2016 election. All he needed was my credit card number and five dollars, if he won he would give me a million dollars. Someone, most likely in a foreign country, has no idea what the term limit is.

What's the funniest scam email you've ever gotten?
