✅ SOLVED Lion with arrow

My friend found this yesterday in his yard that dates back to the mid 1800s and we have no Idea what it is. There is 2 pieces of metal that wrap around the back, like it went on a tie or something, I know should have got a pic of the back. It is about 2 inches across the front, any help would be appreciated , thanks for looking.

It's a suspender buckle....... like these I've found.Mid 19th century would be about right maybe a little newer but 19th century still.
