My little boy loves anything that shines or glitters,he likes to look for rocks & now wonts to get a metal detector.He cant keep up with others his age,he has had some problems do to childhood cancer.I would like to know the best detecor for him ,I wont him to be able to find lots of good things not just junk,,,any input will help make the right pick, thank you,

first off how old is he?

He is 15,, moves slow do to lost of muscle from some meds he has taken ,detector needs to be light,,

the tesoros are fairly cheap price wise, light, great from what Ive read, life time warranty, all there models sound good, what part of the country do you live, help to choose as far as ground conditions. others may chime in with experience with the tesoros, a couple others are the garrets ace 250 and fisher f2 both light and around 200 dollars
