I am frustrated! I keep getting this pop up question every time I go to the open screen button, and then back to the search button. What am I doing wrong?

Not positive...but I think the machine's engineer wanted to give you the opportunity to continue detecting with no discrimination, i.e., "all metal". My apologies if I'm completely wrong.

ETA - for best answer go to Minelab.com and ask them for an explanation.
