Howdy Folks. I have been staying in my hometown hunting this week. Landed a new permission next door to where I found an old British Military button last year. I found another one yesterday. I can't remember all the details and am too tired, sorry, to look them up right now. Oxfordshire on the button. Pitt & Company button makers in London England. 1880's I believe. This little place in the middle of no where had some pretty cool history back in the day. I found the large round disk with the face of a man & woman on each side. It has little pins on the edge as if it rotated in some type holder. I found a penny size "coin" but, it has zero detail and looks more like a dug nickel? I found the Marksman BB gun today at my abandoned school. It has to be a recent loss. I will save some Kid shooting his eye out!:laughing7: I dug the old plastic and brass comb a few days ago. In fine condition with no missing teeth. Kinda' different.

I think I'll be spending more time researching the history of this little place and trying to locate some more potential hot spots. I suppose my yard is a good start as it has given up my oldest US coin, a 1826 Half Cent. There's still plenty of targets needing removed. Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1

man my friend, you always manage to find a wide variety of cool finds!

Some of that stuff is very cool! I would, however, like to travel back in time and beat the person who invented the metal pencil eraser holder. Those ring up exactly as nickels on the AT Pro. Your keepers are great! I have yet to dig even one, good, ornate button. Good work!

Cool finds! The boy/girl disk is a spinner. It sat is a frame, and when you would spin it, you would see them kissing.

Thanks mate! That's cool. Any idea how old this "spinner" thingy might be? I need to do some research now that you have provided some info. :icon_salut:

Don't know for sure, but based on the style of the graphics, I'd say 1940's.

Killing it Kevin!! Very cool button and the spinner is very unique I have not seen of one of those popping up on t-net!
