Hunted about an hour or so without much luck, the very modern 2 clad quarters & nickel were partially exposed near a creek. The 5 zinkolins & the 41 Wheat pendant were all 3 to 6 inches deep. Had alot of rain here the past few days so the ground was much more manageable to dig in. The 41 wheat after cleaning is in very nice condition, probably/possibly protected by the gold plating? Oh & a whatizit that is blue glass with a metal trim, looks like a piece of a chandelier or an old piece used to make old car tail lights look purple??? Thanks for looking! HH

It wasn't good luck for someone else! lol. Maybe I will put it on a chain & wear it on my next hunt to see if it is indeed a lucky penny for me!!

The glass peace looks like like one of them that some people would drill out the tail/brake light lens and put the color peace in and make the tail lights appear as another color think they done it in some older cars. Not surewhat they called them. That's my guess. HH. Like the charm nice save

That's what I'm thinking too as I know several older cars had them. It is not modern, maybe from the 60's at the newest. I thought these were popular on old 30's or 40's vehicles but wasn't sure if they came that way or were just modified.

I think youre right on the whatzit, i had a pair in my first car and they looked like that, that wheat pendant is pretty cool, never seen one before:icon_thumleft:
