Great place Tavares. My wife and I judge BBQ contests on Saturdays around the state. This one (April 26-27, 2013 Planes, Trains, and Barbeque Tavares, FL) is one of our favorites. With the inclusion of the air show, train robbery reenactments and car show, this contest is a blast.

Take a stop at the judge area and say hi! in April.

My days off are Tuesday/Wednesday. Hopefully change them in November. I'm 63 and hunting since 1970's. Mainly a water hunter and some wet sand when the water gets too cold to hunt.
