I got out to my favorite spot for about five hours today. Low and behold the first plug I dig has a 36 buff nickel (my first). Then I got a 1916 and a 1956 wheat cents and a sweet smith &wesson knife. Also some nice old bottles. If anyone has any info on age of the pottery shard or what the other coin looking thing or the lock things are. Thanks.

Congrats on your first Buffalo Nickel! I've found several of those hem weights. Many of them have numbers on them.

Myn looks like it might have had numbers at some time that wore away. Neat little find though
