48 degrees F on Jan 31, in Iowa. I had to get out. Way too muddy to field hunt. Walked to the creek. I gathered 2 lbs of rocks. All but 2 were polishing specimens. I found a neat section of a flint core and this fossil. This is a decent example IMO. Thanks for looking.

My great uncle had a farm in Stuart Iowa and a rock company would least and quarry the limestone underneath. They quarry was full of pieces of criniod and small mollusk fossils.
