Probably 7 Hours,
& over a Hundred Miles.

Buddy Picked me up at 7:30 AM

First stop, we didn't Hunt.
School from Only 50's.
Looked it over & Decided Maybe some-another time :laughing7:

next stop Picnic Grove I Was familiar with
for nice old Coins, But not my day

Had to stop for Re-permission.
I Had it before But wanted to make sure
I Was welcome Back :tongue3:

Got a little Clad & Trash, but nothing old.

from there tried to find somone home for the next stop.
Old grove Now someones Yard.

Nobody home
But did get a little history from an Elderly couple
out for their daily health walk.

Next stop, Listed as a park in the 40's
on an Old Road map
now just woods.

As we almost Drove By, an Elderly Gentleman
Waved at us from his porch, so we turned around
and decided to pay him a Visit :D

When My nephew asked He said "Right Here,
may yards in the Middle of it" ;D

Permission Granted My Nephew took the Yard,
I Went to the woods to the side.

Next stop was Dinner

then on to our Last spot.

Found this tiny grove on the 40's road map,
& Arial on PenPilot, & Only access is along
a Farmers field, Or park on a Grown up Hillside.

Drove back to the Farm to ask,
& The farmers son ended up telling us it was His Land
& Gave us Permission with a Warning.

Yes it wasn't till we hit the last 2 spots that the sun
came out.

& It was only getting overbearing during the Last hunt.

One of these days, you will find a jar under one of those lids, full of Morgans, Barbers, Indians, and brand new SLQ's out the yazhoo. That is my dream, anyway, everytime I start to uncover a zinc lid. You may need a flash mob to do the happy dance adequately for that kind of find.
 
Keep at it Jeff , Last week I was diggin mason lids with porcelin inserts and the 3rd one I dug was a beautiful breast plate.
