Longhorns

Took these in South Dakota this morning.


" Old Brindle " I have read most of Louis L'Amour's books, and if my memory is correct, every story that had a cattle drive in it had a lead steer that they called " Old Brindle ".
I tried to get a picture of the brindle colored one, but he wasn't very cooperative. Just laid there dozing in the morning sun.
