I haven't posted in a while except as replies, or to start trouble ;D And it is mostly because I am very spoiled from my early success with THing. In other words, haven't had much I thought was worthy of posting... not after gold and diamonds, and last summer's big find... but I've been out all the time swingin'. Especially since I've been unemployed for awhile... but enough talk, cuz if you're like me I know you're gonna scroll down to the pictures anyway.

Man, I wanted to do this with the captions for each pic, but don't know how yet (anyone?). I guess I put the best thing first, which kind of messes up the post title.... It's a silver Tiffany money clip. There are several heart-stoppers in the pictures, especially the stupid 10 euro cent thing... that almost hurt. I thought the gold parrot was something awesome too, but EEEEHHHHHH (that's a buzzer sound), big fake costume jewelry.

LOTS of clad, and in fact this is only a third of it, because I've been to the Coinstar twice (and yes I checked it for goodies)....What else? Oh yeah, there's a 1917 merc, which is RARE for us down here in Antarctica. A 1913 buff, a 1946 transit token, the car wash tokens, a 1964 Bermuda penny, a 3 Rupee piece, and then of course the silver Irish wedding ring, the class ring charm, and the little Mickey Mouse charm that my girl wears (the chain is hers).

I found another silver ring, but she won't take it off for me to photo because she loves it. And then finally we have our best treasures... Pearl (my dog) and Burgermeister (her cat). Yes they are best friends... Now I just gotta find some cash to go in that clip. HH DPMD

Glad to see some posts from you again.

I found one of those class ring charms early this summer. Still one of my favorite finds even though it isn't worth anything just because it is so darn cute. Looks like you had a great day for yourself, congrats.

Since you find so much clad, don't waste 8% or whatever on coinstar. Take it to the bank and ask them if they will put it in their coinstar-type machine which costs 0%. Funny, my bank never even noticed or cared that the coins were black. Worth a try, make the most of that "hard earned" cash.

I found $2.11 in a coinstar a few days ago! A couple of foreign coins but there was no indication why most were rejected because they look normal. Moral of the story: make coinstar pay YOU.

Born Free in Cottonwood AZ begging the gold gods to grant me some nuggets.

FYI, coinstars also reject silver coins and wheats.....NGE (T)
