Detector(s) used
DFX, Pro 6000XL, SunRay Probe, Centech Pinpointer
This by far is the biggest peice of metal I have ever found. ;D It flew in to South Bend Indiana yesterday with all the other big planes (C17's). I saw a few metal detectors around the airport but not the kind we like to use. :tongue3: Makes your hair stand on end when you can practically reach out and touch the plane. Thought you all might like these pics. Take care and be safe out there.......jgas

NICE PICTURES.

Very cool JGAS. South Bend is right next to my home town LaPorte.

Nice pics! Looks like you were close.

I'm not far from O'Hare and have only seen AF1 once.

Did you see the sniper that had you in his sights? :tongue3: :tard: ;D

Love to see those planes....and yes I hope it brings our son home from Iraq very soon, we're counting the days....

ModernMiner...Yep right close by there in the lake effect region.

I have seen AirForce One on numerous occasions here in South Bend. Several Presidents visit here on a yearly basis. Notre Dame close by and this is a hot bed of political stuff all the time. That's why they always visit the area. Obama has been to Elkhart 3 times. Clinton a couple, Both of the Bush Presidents and Ronald Reagan...Thanks for the replies everyone.

Great pictures, JG!
