I use Black widows on my DFX 300 and love them I heard that KilllerB's are good also

I use Grey Ghosts with mine.

I'll second the grey ghosts.

If you are a little hard of hearing or hunt where there is a lot of wind noise
then go with Black Widows you will love them! In fact, you will love being
able to hear even the very slightest target responce any where you hunt!

It's very simple,

Detector-pro's Grey Ghost NDT's
Why NDT's?

You can repair them yourself when the wire fatigues..And they ALL do! ...comes with a replacement wire.
No worries about ever sending them back to Manufacture.

Trust me

We are authorized Detectorpro dealers. :hello2:

I have tried someones Grey Ghosts on my MXT and they worked great. I use Ratphones and they are the best I have ever used although I don't think you can find a pair. Anyway, I would get the Grey Ghosts with a limiter. If you think the overload signal is loud through the speaker, wait till you get an earfull through the headphones. The limiter will help a great deal because you can keep the volume up and still save your ear drums if you happen to hit on an ear bashing overload. Being a threshold machine, headphones are almost a must if you want to pick up the deep faint signals.

I have sets of head phones Gray Ghosts an the Nugget Hunters an I prefer the sound of the nugget hunters on my MXT
