Looking for a hunting buddy in the Vinton, IA area

Howdy everyone,

My father in law lives in Vinton and just loves to get out metal detecting. He is very new to the hobby and is not having a lot of luck so far. Is there anyone on the forum in his area that would be willing to take him under your wing and show him some pointers? If so please send me a PM and I can get you in contact with him. Come on! Surely there has to be someone in or near Vinton who metal detects that has a warm heart! This sweet old guy is so deserving of a good find.
