Looking for a new detecting spot

Hey all, I live in southern WV around Beckley and me & my dad are looking for a new place to detect. Does anyone know of any civil war camps or skirmish sites in the area that aren't posted? I've searched on the web trying to find some but have come up empty handed. If it is posted, we will at least ask the property owner for permission if possible.

Any and all help is appreciated.
