Looking for detecting buddies

I'm newer to detecting and from Chicago. I looking for people to go on hunts with. I use a Garret AT Pro and I mostly do beach detecting. I'm looking to hunt other places than the beach and was hoping to find people with more experience than myself to help me along with that. Thanks

You should think about joining a local treasure club and
that will get you going. Many people to help you out and most
are willing to do good. Residential homes is a great place to detect,
especially the older ones. I just bought an AT Pro to start hunting
the beaches this fall or real soon here but also own a CTX 3030
but don't dare bring that baby to the lakefront when hunting solo.

By the way, I live 1 town east of Elmhurst. You aren't that far away. Maybe one day we could meet down at the beaches

Sorry about the late response, I've been in New Orleans the past week. That would be great, I'll email you and maybe we can go sometime. As for the local club, I was hoping to join but I missed the meeting for last month. Hopefully I will get a chance to go this month.
