Looking for info on arrowhead

I live a few miles from the "trail of tears" in central georgia. I don't look for arrowheads but on occasion find them. This one has me curious due to the shape. Any info appreciated.

It's a Bifurcated type Point. Several here to compare to. How big is it? It could be an exhausted McCorkle.

As best as I can tell from the pics, it looks like it may have been an arrowhead that was broken and re-purposed into some kind of tool--possibly a spokeshave.

Bifurcate points of all sizes were hafted knives, thus often serrated & re-sharpened asymmetrically.

It may not be the prettiest but it is an early one. Great Find!

The Grim Reaper has it correct, AND, it predates the "trail of tears" by thousands of years. Nice point for sure.
