what is a clash?

A clash is when the dies strike together with no coin planchet. It leaves impressions of the opposite die on each other. This is called die clash.

Probably not much value in its condition but its cool factor is through the roof, It looks as though the lines coming out of the monticello dome line right up with Jeffersons collar?
