I used to live in Frederic back in the late 1970’s. Use to work at US plywood. There was a stock car dirt track Just off the west side of 27. As you go north on 27 and enter Frederic there is a cemetery on the west side the next road past is Wright street. The race track was between them.
WOW, to refresh my memory I just looked it up on google maps and if you have a computer you should check it out. I really don’t think it is still there but it sure does look like it on satellite view

There was also a bottle wall left after a fire destroyed the motel/hotel in waters. It was on the west side of 27 just before the gas station about 100 yarfs on the east side that was once owned by a friend of mine [dan L]perhaps he still owns it. If he does he can tell you where it was.

Now all you have to do is find some time! Hunting with you is at least as much fun as sending you pics of the coins I'm finding while you are doing your duties as a father, husband and son!

I would reccomend you to anyone in the area as a great guy to hunt with.

Hmmm,
Michigan Butcher just PMed me. He seemed to think I was being a comedian.
I went back through my reply to the post and I'm not sure what he meant. LOL

I stand by my opinion that he is a great guy to hunt with. Not sure why he thinks that's so funny, but it is true!
