Looking for Some Info.I'll put a check cause more about info then ID.

Look tneters it's been raining here for three days now.Yesterday 10" in 5hrs.So I don't got much to do but go through some of the things I have found.Trying to learn more.It's not that I don't know what this is.It's trying to find some where to tell me some answers I was wanting to know.
I found this pendant at a site on the river where I have found 1730era. piece of eight,1reals 1746 milled coin,1780era.irish half penny,and one irish halfpenny that seems to be late 1600 circa.I'm sure it's from that time period.What I would like to know is what type of person would have worn it,what it stood for,or where it might have come from.Thought it might help me know how to scan the site better or what type of site I was dealing with.I know it's alot to ask just thought I through it out there.
Anything would be good maybe a site I have missed on the internet or anything.

Can't help much, but the Scorpion symbol was used on pendants and other objects during the 1500's thru the 1700's as protection from witches, and other demonic cults. I can't tell how old yours is, but if from the same period as the coins, could be Irish. good luck

Thanks again cwhunter1,Thats neat info.Did you get from a site I could read about?Also not sure what it's made of but have found quite a few molded pewter buttons from here.And the metal it's made of seem alot like that.

That info came up doing a search for SCORPION SYMBOLS OF THE 1700'S. I looked at several sites. one was on pagan rights. Thats where the info. came from and the only closely related and time period to your finds.

others refered to the Praetorian Guards of the Roman Empires. 300b.c.. Me thinks this maybe too old.

I forgot the other day when I posted this. About this little lead shaped bell looking thing had came from this site.It it self is a mystery to me also.If it is a lead bell don't see how it could of made much noise.I think it did not always have the hole in it.The edges are sort of jagged around that area like it had been broke out.It also has some writing on it.As best I can tell is NDRETH or NDRCTH and something under that.Got to thinking about it thought it might help.Has any of you ever seen a lead bell?Or What ever it is?Sure from same period as this place is very remote from civilization.
