Hi everyone, I found this GW button last year and I posted it here with a Rev War 6th MASS button I found. It measures 18MM and I posted a picture of a GW button I found a long time ago so you can see the size difference between them both. From that time on I have been trying to find more information on this GW button. I did find this button in Alberts button book, #WI12f, but aside from that there is nothing I can find about this type and size button.
Did they use these as a cuff button or would it be for another purpose? I can find a ton of info about the larger size GW buttons but, there doesn't seem to be a lot of these at this size that I can track down, that's why I am looking to you all. I am more of a novice button collector compared to a lot of you and would really appreciate any info you guys can give me on this type of GW button.
