Looking in New Orleans

I've had a white's detector since I was about 18. I used to use it but life got busy. I pulled it out the closet last week and ordered a new rechargeable battery pack. I'm looking anyone in or near New Orleans who'd like to chat or share some info. I don't see any clubs in the list. Maybe we could start one. Hope there are a few of us around. Bye

7.12.09 I was just in town today detecting in front the Tulane sign on St. Charles tried a little in Lafayette park but it was really trasy. Found clad in both locations nothing more. Was trying not to dig deep since they have a nice lawn there. So I uses a toy detector$50. BH wally world special great detector if you want to do minimal digging. So if you want to try the deep stuff on the strip between the sidewalk and the street aka community property it has been fairly cleaned up.
My wife didnt like detecting oh well they went to the zoo I MD around the Tulane sign.
