Looks like a tool for grinding grain or nuts? Ever seen one of these?

I found this in an area in Southern Tennessee, where we have found several points. Its totally flat on both ends, fits the hand nicely and has a definite thumb hold in just the right place. So what do you think?

Ok heres the pics you ask for. About the thumb hold, it actually fits the middle finger and there is an indention on the back for the thumb.

you can tell by the fact that the patina is not worn off in areas that would have been used to grind or rub.
