Metal Detecting
Hello everyone again,

Yesterday I was out doing some detecting with my Minelab CTX3030. I got 12-44, 12-45 signal at only 6 inches deep I found this 1917 loom order of moose badge. When I dug it up out of the ground it was black. After cleaning it with a toothbrush and some jewelry cleaner it looks almost silver and it has some weight to it. Does anyone have any more information about this? Thanks glhh to all!!

Nice find, good condition. I hope it's silver.

Nice pedant! Does "gold fill" mean plated? And I'd go recheck that hole for its jewel eyeball ^ ^

Great find......That's a true keepsake....What type of jewelry cleaner do you use?
