Today I hit 38 banks for CWR halves. Yes, 38. Which produced TWO 40%, both 68-d. BAAAA!!! However, I got one from a bank where the teller (very nicely) said that the customer who brought them in ($180 worth) had searched them for silver if that was what I was looking for. I always just smile and say I just look for old dates, which isn't a lie. I bought them anyways and was pleasantly surprised with a 68. This was the last bank I went to.

I didn't have much mileage. Four banks later and i wasn't able to even find a half. Nada zip zilch zero not even a freak'n clad. I stand amazed.

But the lesson being: always buy them all. Even if the teller tells you they're searched. Even if they're re-crimped machine rolls.
