Sorry to hear that your interest is waning Bill.

I tend to think if you take Tnet in small doses, say a visit every couple of days or so, there are more than enough new posts, not just posts of finds, to keep almost anyones interest going.

I consider myself to be well rounded, having at least some knowledge of many different subjects, and yet this site and the great people on it, who freely contribute their knowledge, never fail to teach me new things.

Perhaps you just need a change of scenery for couple of weeks. Besides, you know how it works here.......like the song Hotel California.....you can check out, but you can never leave.

I don't really know ya, but I do wish you good luck at whatever you do. I have not lost interest in MDing, but currently really cannot do much of it because of hand injury.

I have however had one very turbulent last 2 years, and had to spend a great deal of time away from the internet, which of course meant Tnet as well. I am just now looking again and refreshing my interest in all MDing. I just wish I actually could hit it hard right now.

Anyways, Good luck to you. I hope all goes well.

sorry to see you go garrettman64 i guess it happens..sounds like its just the forum that has you down and not metal detecting.if it is MD'ing in general those bad stretches are out there,ya just gotta keep at it and remember if you don't find it today you will tomorrow.

not lost interest in T-net its wonderful I get deperessed I guess I am afraid to hunt any ware and to ask anyone to hunt on there property. I am severly deperessed because of a lot of things

Hey Gman ..... you don't want to ask to hunt houses or places but what about local parks near you. Most of the time you are allowed to hunt playgrounds. How about your church? Ask your pastor if you can hunt the church grounds. It is depressing when you don't find much and especially if you go out several days in a row and don't find much but you just have to keep trying. It's the gng's on here that keep me going out. I don't find diamond rings and very few gold ones. I think my total count of actual gold rings is 6 for 2 years! Some of these guys find that many in a day! But most of them are hunting beach areas. Take a break and come back when you are ready and feel free to just come in a chat or ask questions. How about clubs? Any in your area? Did you ever consider advertising on here for a hunting partner? Well, like I said before come back when you are ready.

Adrenalin cures my Depression, before you try a prescription......

find something that goes fast........car, downhill mountain bike, bomb down a hill on a skateboard.........fight a guy in a bar....hunt, get a tattoo, ride a motorcycle.
When you shed tears at ridiculous speed.......it's doing the mind and body good.
When you come down from your adrenalin high and find yourself safe again........bookmark it in your mind....and do it again.......when you need to. Cheat your mind at the game of depression.....with these tricks.......and if someones getting you down.....tell them F*CK off..........
If your body is getting you down..........adrenalin via cars.....can fix that.......
Ever wonder how fast that 1998 Camry will go...........freakin find out..........I love saying to myself......."I can't believe I just did that...(breath, breath)..."
Ancient man everyday.....used his adrenalin....modern man ignores his.......
It really does help........

Good luck and hope you return soon. I do not understand what troubles you are going through so I will not try to philosophize your condition or what you should do about it. Things will work them self out as they have for me and countless others in this crazy mixed up world we live in.
