Lost P.O.W photo

I WAS LUCKY TO FIND THIS PHOT ON THE INTERNET OF MY DAD IN A JAPANESE PRISON CAMP, WE LOST THE PHOTO ABOUT 30 YRS AGO. IT WAS TAKEN BY THE RED CROSS AND DAD IS STANDING IN THE MIDDLE. 17 YEARS OF AGE.

Very cool Hardy to find that photo! Your dad is a true hero. Where did he get captured? Next time you come through Minot let me know ,I have an old WW2 Jap helmit you can have if you wont it since your father was there and endured years of such terrible abuse.Its just the shell but its in fair shape.

I clicked on this link cause Hardy is my last name. That's neat that you found that photo. I'm glad your Dad made it. I have a lot of respect for guys that had to go through war. We have a similar photo of our Grandpa in a North Korean prison camp. It was in an old Readers Digest.
