On Monday I picked up a box of quarters, $3 in pennies and $20+ in loose halves. The pennies gave me two wheats and a dime and the halves produced a '64. A pretty good haul for such a small amount. But the box of quarters was really interesting. Along with the Denver minted American Samoa quarter I needed, I found over 90 Bicentennial quarters. Before now, I don't think I found more than 20 in a box. Someone must have dumped their hoard. Later I'm going to call up the local coin dealers to see if they want them. If not, then back into circulation they go.

Thought he said it was a 64 half? And yes, he can throw it back :D
