Got together with Lookindown and david(fl) for a couple beach hunts in the past few weeks and was finally able to squeak out a little gold ring but it took some doing though. After about 9 hours in the water and not knowing if lookindown and Dave were ready to go I wondered about a mile down the beach. It was low tide so I did what I don't think I have ever done and got out of the water and decided to hunt the water line back toward the parking lot. I think it was my second target in the wet sand and my first gold in four hunts. It's only a couple grams but it was beautiful to me. There were lots of targets and the gold ring was my 12th ring of the year. All the others were nice rings just no gold. The pictures and video are from two hunts. The sound pretty much sucks. I think it's time for a better camera. The Manatee hung out pretty much all day. Thanks for looking......

That is a great day in my book, you found a lot of good rings. You keep hunting like that, and the gold will come! That is a pretty little Gold ring too!

That's 9 rings between us in the last two hunts...we still have a long Summer ahead of us...I see more gold in our future...I have fun no matter what we find, gold is just a bonus.

Ya Baywalker.... I don't mind showing silver. We find it at pretty much every beach we hunt and as for the one gold, 3 of us put in about 10 hours and got one little gold. Heck, hopefully they WILL go there and not go where we will be next week LOL thanks

The gold ring with the emerald stone is exquisite!

Hunting the water line is the first thing I do before going anywhere else; I go up and down a long stretch, and then work out ( or in) from there.
