Went out this morning. Cold and wet. An odd array. Melted 3 ringer, a perfect dropped .69 round ball, fired pistol bullet and a first for me-3-1/2 scales from an epaulette. Man, I was like a hog root in' in the mud looking for the scales! IMG_2684.webp

A very good day at that civil war site in Louisiana.

Nice additions for the collection

Nice job, congratulations! :occasion14:

Amazing finds! Congrats!!

very nice and worth the mudding!

The epaulet is a killer find! Wow. It's a nice haul. Can you imagine the blood loss from a .69 cal hole in you? Make a hole in you like a garden hose.

Big brass like that in there, you might come across a plate. Maybe the one with the pelican ;)

Nice hunt for sure!

Very cool grouping of finds! Congrats on a CW dream day!

Nice finds...Congratulations! Yep, it's cold for South Louisiana today, muddy too.

Nice hunt!--JB
