hello im a new member ive metal detected before so I got a new one because Im working in Louisiana and the historical nature of the area hooked on to me good I was wondering if there are any good areas to go around pleasant hill area or mansville without getting into trouble

Ok so I got 46 acres in the campti area I can md anyone know and lore on it I know campti is really really old

Hello and welcome to Louisiana. I don't have a clue about your area, but be very careful around the Civil War areas you mentioned. Very, very careful. There is some extreme penalties for metal detecting in a historical site.

I'm looking for some areas to hunt around Shreveport anyone have any good ideas or suggestions on how to go about getting permission. FYI I am new to the hobby
