Low tide today

Hunted about 2 hours today down at southern Virginia Beach at low tide. Not much to report, 46 holes for 11 cents! Found a '68 nickel and 6 junk pennies. Lots of junk; wire, nails, and bottlecaps. The seas were calm and the water was clean. A beautiful day to get out. There's always tomorrow.

In my opinion, ANY time spent at the beach makes for a good day...
the detecting goodies are just the icing on the cake.
(altho, i've always been partial to the icing) lol
