I deal a great deal with a local BOA branch. The folks from the manager down to the newest teller all know me by name and treat me outstanding. ( I make sure to drop off some good candy often also). Was in last week about to pick up my half order and the head teller told me that I could re-roll the halves if I wanted to and just bring them right back in and she would either swap me for new boxes of halves, dimes, or whatever if she had them and I would not have to go to a different dump bank. Man, that was some service. I have taken her up on the offer numerous time now and there is never a gunt or groan from anyone about it. Feel very lucky about this and it saves a bunch of gas. Can do a re-roll in about 30 mins now. Hope to get that time down some with more practice.

Not bad. Since they are so accommodating, have you thought to ask about bringing the coin in bags?

so your eating where you dump? How's that working for you?

I was at my dump bank and jammed the coin counter. the supervisor told me there was a guy would order 2,500 in quarters, search it, and dump it at the same bank. he eventually got cut of from dumping... - i don't think he had much luck with silver

namster, yep she told me I could bring in the stuff in bags and they would send it off to count. I like to get my money much quicker than send off so I can go roll at other branches tho. tks.

In my opinion, if the teller offers you to dump and pickup at her branch, do it. However, do not do it under any other circumstances.

I wouldn't do it ( IMHO) they send it back to a central vault, you're dumping into your supply. I just sent off my first test bag today to see what happens, my supply comes from another carrier and dump into a different one alltogether. I have had banks tell me I could bring it back too, but I think thats them just being nice, I tell them I'd never do that and they allways say, oh, good. Maverick.

My dump bank (TD) lets me dump halves in bags and gives me the cash. Just ask them if they could do this and just reference your account in case of a discrepancy. I'm careful with my count and so far it's worked great for both my bank and me.
