Lucretia Vauderbilt ?

Any info on this lady would be appreciated.Knorrski dug up a item that is approx 1/2in w by 2in l flat at one end and round at the other end.It is hollowed out and appears to be copper.At the flat end is where the name is.Any ideas would be appreciated.Thanks.

Am guessing it's just a typo, but "Vauderbilt" should be Vanderbilt. Unfortunately, according to a website on cosmetics/compact mfgrs., there is "no definitive information" on Lucretia Vanderbilt. However, I found a few dealer listings of Vanderbilt items dated c. 1920's-30's.

I believe you meant Lucretia Vanderbilt as PBK mentioned. Below are links to a few Lucretia Vanderbilt items. I couldn't find anything with the dimensions you gave. Could yours be some type of lipstick holder? Any chance of posting a picture?
