M6 in hot rocks?

How does the M6 handle hot rocks?

I just move off or I believe turning down the gain will help.

You can try pumping it up and down a few times and see if it adjusts. What mode is the toggle in? You can also raise the coil a bit - really depends. Dropping the sensitivity never hurts either. I am an M6 expert LOL ..... give me all the details and I'll try to help.
