Any photogs out there? I am in the market for a new digital camera but just thought about the possibility of taking close ups of some of my finds. I was hoping to stay away from the SLR type digitals and go with something smaller. I've read where Canon uses a "digital macro" feature on some of their cameras.

Any comments please.

Thanks
Optic

This is an abandoned house I started detecting on over the weekend. Found some recent coins, interesting metal shoe from India (about 3 inches long, not sure what metal, seemed like tin) and lots of junk.

My canon has the macro but almost all digital (non SLR type) cameras have this feature. Rob

I've wondered what cameras other detectors use. i personally use the Pentax Optio W20. it's water proof too.
and has a great macro.
