Most of the coins I find are brass or copper.....they are holed coins, found in Korea.
I have found several thousand, and have thought about making some of them into Jewelry, mounting them into
bezels, and putting them on a chain.
PROBLEM: The coins look very nice after cleaning them, but left out for several weeks, they develop "coin cancer."
They end up with spots, or turning a dark color.
Any idea what I could use as a coating for them that will insure that they stay bright and shiny?
Appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
