Making or buying custom coins for cheap, help please?

Hi all,

I am taking an American History until 1877 class and we have been divided into groups. Our instructor told us that anything we do extra is extra credit. I came up with the idea to make our own coins with 2009 dated on them and the name of our fake colony. Does anyone know where I can get this done or how much it would cost? I think it would be a cool idea. Maybe even use some slugs and a hammer. I am up for anything. Thanks for your attention.

a punch set will set u back about 15 bills. if ur real tight on money u should be able to use a centerpunch and write w a bunch of small dots. id choose a real short name for my colony like RA .
