Marbles & A Litte Silver

I went out with Smittyman on Sunday morning. It has been really hot and dry, but we had to give it a try.

We hunted around some old housing units. The houses have no gutters, so there are little gullies around the houses. I managed to locate 9 marbles amoungst the trash in these erosion gullies.



I was able to dig a toy spill. This Tootsie and Ranger badge were in the same hole. Some kid had a really bad day.



I managed to find 5 wheaties and one Canadian cent.



And lastly, despite the dry ground conditions, I was able to scratch up one lonely Mercury dime.

It's been very hot here as well. I like finding marbles and we find them a lot inside old houses we work on. If you gave kids today marbles to play with they would think you have lost yours.
