Marcasite has a metallic luster and is white when cut and rapidly oxidizes to black with iridescence on the surface. I think it's much more likely considering your collecting region and the appearance in the photo that the coloring is due to Arsenopyrite.

Arsenopyrite is a very common mineral is one of the main reasons you should not lick your rock specimens.

Thanks Clay, I appreciate you. I was really hoping it was silver, that would be so cool lol. Thanks again!

It is a possibility. Does the rock fell smooth and slippery? Moly feels similar to graphite to the touch. It tends to crystallize in tabular sheets so the appearance is closer to mica than pyrite..

Cant tell by touch, It seems to be inclusions in the black plume and some just below it, but I took some shots under my loupe of the crystallization, maybe something will catch your eye to tell you one way or another what you think. Again, I appreciate your help Clay.

Could that black just be specular hematite 🤷‍♂️

Looks like some of it is exposed from your cut, can you try to scratch it to get a hardness, or get a streak color? looks a but like Hematite.
